I have had the pleasure in being associated with Geoff Locke during the fitout stage of the MV Asteri contract.

Geoff Locke has been involved in the manufacture and installation of furniture for the above vessel. His work has been of the highest standard and in keeping with requirements for a white boat fitout.

In my role as Interior co-ordinator on the conversion/refit of the ex-salvage tug Asteri at the yard of Northport Engineering (VVhangarei), I had occasion to use the services of Geoff Locke Cabinetmakers. Geoff and his team made and installed the galley cabinetry, guest cabin sideboards, owner’s and guest bathroom vanities, air-conditioning grilles and assisted with many other aspects of interior joinery His joinery was both painted and clear lacquered and was of the expected standard.

In my role as owner’s representative on various other projects I have been involved in having Geoff quoting on joinery packages. I have found him honest, meticulous and prompt to respond to my requests. His pricing has been on a par with other companies and my dealings with him have highlighted his flexibility and willingness to ensure that any project he is involved with is a success, both on quality and commercial issues.

On my frequent visits to Geoff’s premises I have been impressed with his workshop and the quality of joinery under construction. His shop has a professional level of equipment and machinery and is clearly well maintained. As well, I have inspected very high quality antique style furniture under construction. It is evident Geoff and his team have a wide variety of joinery skills.

I have every intention of using Geoff in the future and would recommend him to anyone else.
